Supporting communities
Investing where we operate
At Future Biogas, our commitment to sustainability extends beyond energy and farming — we’re equally invested in the wellbeing and prosperity of the communities that host our infrastructure. We operate in rural areas across the UK, and with each new biogas site, we aim to become a trusted neighbour, a reliable partner, and a force for good.

These funds are designed to support grassroots projects typically within 5 miles of our sites. From biodiversity initiatives to wellbeing, accessibility, and youth programmes, our support helps local groups bring impactful ideas to life.
We’re proud to have funded a wide variety of projects, including:
- The restoration of wildflower meadows or hedgerow planting by a local conservation group
- Community pantry for food-insecure households or healthy eating workshops
- Wheelchair-friendly path upgrades at a local village hall
- STEM kits for local primary schools or a community garden run by young volunteers

These projects are just a glimpse of what’s possible when businesses and communities work together. We review applications regularly and keep the process deliberately simple because we believe the best ideas often start close to home.
