<p>Nestled just off the A1 only a few miles from Grantham, Moor Bioenergy is Future Biogas’ latest flagship anaerobic digestion facilities. Covering just over 5 hectares in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside, Moor Bioenergy is the first large scale unsubsidised biomethane plant ever built in the UK.</p>

<p>Situated at the end of Aberdeen airport, AD Aberdeen is one of Future Biogas’ flagship anaerobic digestion facilities. Covering just under 2 hectares, the site is in the heart of the action located right next to The Event Complex Aberdeenshire (TECA).</p>

The Event Complex Aberdeen

<p>Nestled just near the old Scampton Air Base, Grange Farm is one of Future Biogas’ flagship anaerobic digestion facilities. The site is one of the prettiest in our portfolio set amongst the picturesque farmland of Lincolnshire, the site is naturally screened by existing woodland and thoughtfully designed to blend into the surrounding environment.</p>

<p>Stationed not too far from the Royal Airforce Base in Waddingdon, Heath Farm is a subtle but efficient plant. Covering just shy of 6 hectares, the site is naturally screened by existing woodland and thoughtfully designed to blend into the surrounding environment.</p>

Heath Farm Energy 

<p>This site, the first of our &#8220;Thee Amigos&#8221; is built on a disused airfield in rural Lincolnshire. Merlin sits proudly within the triangle formed by three air strips. Built in the design of our Three Amigos, it is one of the more productive sites within our portfolio.</p>

Merlin Renewables

<p>Built within the Holkham Estate within the rural East Anglian countryside, Egmere Energy is the second of the Future Biogas &#8220;Three Amigos&#8221; collection, and a workhorse anaerobic digestion facility. Covering a small 3 hectares, the unassuming site is tucked away down the back of an existing industrial estate.</p>

<p>This great little plant was built in an old World War 2 airfield hangar. The site was originally located close to a piggery, designed to take manures and wastes from nearby farms. Today though, the site only processes energy crops such as Maize, Barley and Rye. Whilst the hangar remains, the rest of the site is naturally set back in picturesque countryside.</p>


Warren Energy

<p>This stunning biogas plant with its 4 matching domes is tucked away on the edge of an old coal mine just outside of Meden Vale. Biogas Meden is one of Future Biogas’ core anaerobic digestion facilities. Covering approximately 3.5 hectares, the site is naturally screened by existing woodland and thoughtfully designed with green domes to blend into the surrounding woodlands.</p>

<p>Burton Agnes Renewables sits in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The plant in its rural surrounds is dwarfed by the vast fields and agricultural land that surrounds it. The site sits on the doorstep of the beautiful Burton Agnes Hall, a stately Elizabethan home from where the biogas plant derives its name.</p>

<p>This daring little site sits along the Ridge Road, near the little village of Micklefield. It&#8217;s not hard to guess how this site was named. Ridge Road is currently one of our smaller sites measuring only about 3 hectares in total. The site is unique in the sense that it&#8217;s the only site in our portfolio where the main digester doesn&#8217;t have a domed roof.</p>

<p>Vulcan Renewables was one of the first commercial anaerobic digestion plants in the UK to connect directly to the national gas grid, sending biomethane to the network after commissioning in October 2013. Located near Doncaster, the plant processes energy crop and agricultural waste and generates biogas, which is upgraded to biomethane and fed into the gas grid.<span class="uJ19be notranslate" data-wiz-uids="zfcANe_12,zfcANe_13" data-processed="true"><span class="vKEkVd" data-animation-atomic="" data-processed="true"> </span></span></p>

What You Get

Solutions

<p>Future Biogas can virtually sleeve unsubsidised biomethane via the existing gas grid to meet your gas demand. We develop new build new fully additional anaerobic digesters with Carbon Capture to meet demand. Green gas is load balanced through the grid with a full chain of custody proving that the gas you consume is met by equal green gas development.</p>
