Dr Nick Primmer
Nick is a proud geographer – fascinated by the world around us and often he can be found getting lost in a map.

After completed a PhD in climate change, he was keen to turn theory into action, getting a job as a market and policy analyst at Anaerobic Digestion and Biofuels Association (ADBA) and World Biogas Association (WBA) – the trade associations for the UK and global biogas industries, respectively. Here, he developed a holistic understanding of biogas – from its current trends to its future potential.
Nick long preached about the need to valorise AD’s environmental services beyond energy. And so, he joined Future Biogas to support the delivery of their industry-leading project – Project Carbon Harvest.
As Policy Lead, Nick works to ensure that the right policy and regulations are in place to deliver this pioneering Project, maximising its environmental outcomes across multiple sectors – namely farming, energy, and carbon capture.
When not working, you’ll likely find Nick cooking, eating, or mapping the next place to eat!
