After starting life behind the lens with a degree in photography and digital imaging, Tim’s journey zigzagged through marketing and public relations, and European backpacking before landing in the thick of climate conversations.
He spent over a decade at Shell, ultimately leading global communications for Shell Environmental Products and helping corporates navigate the evolving world of carbon markets.
Now at Future Biogas, Tim brings his storytelling skills and systems thinking to the forefront of the energy transition—crafting narratives that connect soil to strategy, farmers to futures, and molecules to markets. He’s passionate about helping hard-to-abate sectors decarbonise with substance and style.
When he’s not decoding decarbonisation, Tim is probably chasing his two young daughters, running steep trails, or dreaming up the next big adventure (he’s only three countries away from ticking off every country in Europe). He also once rescued 1,000 tadpoles from demolition making for a very noisy backyard when they became frogs —because nature has always been more than a side quest.
