Future Biogas
Overview

As Sustainability Director, Archie leads sustainability across the business, including novel projects, Life Cycle Assessments, data governance, operational and compliance procedures, R&D, certification, and market opportunities.

Archie brings over a decade of energy-sector experience and a science-driven approach to building responsible, future-proof sustainability strategies.

Archie holds an undergraduate degree in Climate Change and a Masters in Sustainability and has spent over a decade in the UK energy and waste sectors. At Utilita Energy and Luxion Group, he founded the sustainability function, built a team, developed an automated GHG accounting system, and delivered products from trial to market that helped customers live lower-carbon, lower-cost lifestyles. At Enva, he refreshed the organisation’s approach to sustainability, laying the groundwork for a future-proof strategy. He has also volunteered as a Governor at Dorset Studio School and Strategic Advisor to WattsWatt.

Outside work, Archie comes from a farming family in Dorset. He spends much of his spare time thinking about scuba diving holidays, enjoys photography, gaming (recently finishing Ghost of Tsushima), and science fiction from authors like Frank Herbert, Andy Weir, Ursula K. Le Guin, and Isaac Asimov.
